Our Marine & National Guard Boys Are Home For Christmas

 So nice to have everyone home for Christmas this year, 

just might be the last one we have everyone together for along time.

Gonna soak up the goodness

Our Son In Law Mark as been gone 3 months for basic training, he is now a Marine.  

He will be home for a few weeks, then more training.

Our nephew has been gone about 6 weeks at basic training, 

he will be home til Jan. 2, then back from more training. 

Quick Sugar Cookies...

Quick Sugar Cookies
(I double this recipe)

1/2 cup soft butter, margarine or shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 medium egg
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1-1/2 cups flour

In a medium sized bowl cream together the margarine or shortening and sugar. Beat it until it is smooth and fluffy. Add the egg, milk and vanilla, mixing well. Stir in the salt, baking powder and flour. Mix it all up until it makes a nice smooth dough. Drop about a teaspoonful onto a prepared cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for about 8 to 10 minutes.

Thanksgiving 2013

I'm thankful every day, for all God's blessing's, not just in November! Only one thing is required for true happiness and that is the ability to appreciate what you already have 

 The rugrats come to stay with us for Thanksgiving til Sunday

Family kinda weekend

 I always wanted to win the lottery. But tonight I looked around at my beautiful family and realized I already have. These people sure can drive me nuts sometimes but man... I love them.

 Kaylin spent the weekend with us, we just hung out, goofed off, laughed, joked, watched movies, went Thanksgiving food shopping, I worked on some crochet projects... mismatched chunky slippers for Kay and a Sabby chic infinity scarf for myself. Kaylin went home earlier today, we'll be seeing her again next weekend when we go to Yates Thanksgiving, Blake and hes girl friend hung out with us and enjoyed hm cake and choc. covered strawberries for their November b-days tonight. Brian has been busy in the kitchen makin/bakin a brownie cheesecake for my birthday, thats tomorrow... Blessed 

 Life is good.

Brian and I went to Hinton's Orchard and Farm Market we ate ice cream, brought home some pumpkins & apples... it was nice just the two of us hanging out.

I had the Pumpkin Pie ice cream, very good.
