Wildberry Bread Puddin w/dark choc. toppin

I got this recipe from Rebecca an old high school friend :)

Berry Bread Puddin
3 eggs
4 cups heavy whipping cream (reserve 1 cup for toppin/glaze)
2 cups sugar
3 tsp vanilla
2-3 cups berries (any berries you want, I used 2 cups but next time I'm gonna use 3)

1 loaf of french bread, cut into 1 inch cubes (I used a hm loaf of white/wheat flour)

1 pkg dark choc. baking chips (or any choc. chips you want)

Combine & mix together 1st five ingredients in large bowl. Once mixed well, stir bread cubes. Let rest for about 15 minutes.

Transfer into a greased 13X9 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until done in the center. It can take an additional 20 minutes sometimes. While its coolin alittle fix toppin/glaze...


Toppin/glaze
Put one package of baking chips into a bowl. Bring 1 cup heavy whipping cream to a boil and pour over the chips until melted and mix until creamy. Spoon topping over bread puddin or each serving.

*This makes alot of toppin, so you might only want to make half or use the other half for something else.

** Rebecca uses 2 bag of bakin chips in her recipe (she mixes 1 bag in the bread puddin before bakin, then uses the other bag for the toppin/glaze) I did not and it was still yummy.

Homemade Pound Cake

Was needin to use up some farm fresh eggs last week so I made a hm pound cake for the 1st time, heres the R-E-C-P-I-E I used. We liked it. I also made a wildberry sauce to pour over it.

After Brian & I rode up to sell eggs yesterday we stopped & picked up some pretty flowers for the deck steps...

Movin Our Shed To The Country...

the shed was the 1st thing we moved to our land...

We've moved this shed 2 times now since being here. Think we found the just the right spot in our yard on the last move. One day when we build a garage this shed is gonna be my chickie house (it kinda already is, lol).

Our New Deck Steps

We havent be able to use our sliding glass door in ages, we gave my momma & Clinton our steps when they moved (they needed them more than us). So we started buildin our deck steps last Saturday. Brian, Cody, Dylan & I all had a hand in buildin the deck steps... ok Brian mostly, lol. Its sooooo nice to use the door again!

We love our new deck steps! This is where I'll be sippin my coffee & watchin the wild birds in the mornins. (Brians gonna add one more step at the bottom & I'm gettin some flowers to go in the flower boxes)
