... My Daily Life...

Ok, I friend of mine wanted me to post how I spend my days so here it is...

5:00-6:30: Get up. Try to sneak into kitchen for coffee and laptop, Porkchop hears me and starts squealin for breakfast ( yummy piggy pellets and water, I feed her 1 cup of pellets a day, broken into 4 feedins). After I feed her I can get my coffee and try to turn on my laptop by this time Hank is up runnin around like a fool tryin to find Daisy (who is sleepin in one of the boys bedrooms). I also go wake up Dylan for school. Kaylins usually up gettin ready. Cody wakes up with his alarm by 6:30. Let Daisy out to go potty, sometimes take Porkchop out too.

6:30-7:00: Check in on Facebook, DWLZ and Blogger (my 3 most favorite sites). Wake up Blake for school. Sometimes start a load of laundry or the dishwasher. Go in laundry room to feed/water the 3 cats (Piper, Ally & Jinx), grab the 6 milk jugs I have to fill up with water to take out to the chickens/ducks while its winter.

7:00-7:30: Make sure all the teenagers get out the door and go to school. Fill water jugs for animals.

7:30-8:00: Bundle up, carry water jugs out and do my animal chores.... I have 3 chicken runs I feed/water in and usually the ducks have already flew over the run with acouple chickens so I have to get them back in their runs. Then I put BOSS in the wildbird feeders and clean water in the birdbath. Love watchin the wildbirds at my feeders.

8:00- 11:00: Come back inside, unbundle... check back in on computer, chat for awhile, grab some breakfast, start my house chores, they very from day to day. Bake something if I feel like it. Think about what I'm cookin for dinner. Take Porkchop out to potty, on nice days I let her stay out and root for awhile. If I have to go out of the house for any errands this is usually the time I do it... grocerys, feed store, post office, bank. If I'm gonna workout I do it within this time too, need to get back to workin out.

11:00 - 12:00: Feed Porchop, grab some lunch, go check on the chickens, collect any eggs, give them more water if they need it.

12:00 - 2:30: Finish house chores then do whatever I want... usually its computer time, crochet while watchin tv. I clean but I'm not a cleanin freak, our house is not dirty but its not spotless either and if you ever stop in the kitchen will be a mess, for some reason I can NEVER keep it clean! I'm not going to waste my life away cleanin... theres too many other fun things to do and enjoy.

2:30 - 3:00: Get dinner started... Go out and feed/water chickens again, collect any eggs... let them out of their run if I'm gonna let the free range.

3:00 - 4:00: Still cookin dinner, the teenagers are comin in the door from school. Hank and Daisy are going crazy cause they missed them. Sometimes I have to go pick up a teenager from school and that really throws off our schedule.

4:00 - 4:30: Dinner time for everyone... Family, Daisy, Hank and Porkchop Clean up kitchen from dinner (usually I save the dishes and wash them the next mornin, so I can watch the real nature channel out my big kitchen window, lol). Tellin the teenagers to do their 1 weekly chore.

4:30- 6:30: Still tellin the teenagers to do their 1 weekly chore. Brian or I will take whoever has sports activities to them. Just hang out with the family the rest of the night and of course I'm checkin in on my computer, sometimes chattin with friends.

6:30-7:00: Usually everyones done their chore by now. I Feed Porkchop her last meal of the day, take her to potty. Let the cats in as the come one by one that are hangin on the windows, put them in laundry room with their feed/water, love on them for a minute.

7:00 - 10:00: Usually watchin a tv show with my honey and crochetin something. Make sure all the teenagers get in bed by 10:00. Fix the coffee pot for the next mornin.
* some nights in the winter I get everything done around this time, get ready for bed and go climb in my bed for the night... crochetin, readin then fast asleep by 8:30-9:00, I think I was a bear in another life, I love to hibernate, lol.

10:00: Bedtime :)

* This is basically how my days go, unless I go somewhere or someone stops in for a visit. No school days are about the same. Summer days are busier with the garden, berry pickin, sittin outside enjoyin the day watchin the animals and hangin out at the lake with the teenagers or just havin a lazy day.

** Freezin, snow weather I gotta go out 4-5 times a day with warm water for the animals and to collect eggs so they dont freeze.

*** I try to take Porkchop out to potty every 30 mins. unless I'm makin her stay in her area with her potty box.

**** Lets not forget I take pictures all day long to share with everyone, lol

Tryin To Sew. lol

I got the idea to try to sew with my sewing machine from The Goodwife... when she posted about the House - Skirt she made. I thought hummm that looks pretty easy, maybe something I can do... Hahahaaaaaaa

It wasnt. But it sure was fun tryin. You see I really have no sewing experience, my husband and daughter can use my sewing machine way better than I can! Now thats sad. Thank goodness Kaylin was here to help me along the way in my sewing adventure. Thank You Kaylin.

I love this... we are both concentrating so hard! lol

Oooo look I'm sewing

Well here it is... A House - Skirt. Made out of 2 old pairs of sweat pants. I dont have fabric layin around the house, what would I do with fabic... I dont sew, lol. But I really want to!!! I guess I did ok for my 1st time and it really is a comfy skirt but theres ALOT of mistakes in it. I will try to make another one and hopefully it will look alittle better.

Thanks for the idea to recycling old clothes The Goodwife :)
