Kaylin wasnt here, she had spent the night with one of her friends on Christmas Eve and then had to work Christmas day.  I know as the kids grow up and start their own lives things are gonna be different with the holidays... we gotta start workin on different traditions.

Pumpkin Scones

While browsing blog world last night I came across this scone recipe  Gingerbread Scones  on Heritage Schoolhouse blog and told my honey I was gonna make them in the morning... well its morning and I realized I didnt have any molasses so I seen I had a can of pumpkin in the pantry... so why not make Pumpkin Scones.  I searched her blog and found this Pumpkin Scones recipe.

I actually started out with the Gingerbread recipe and then just added the pumpkin pie spice, 1 more Tablespoon of brown sugar and 1/2 cup pumpkin.  Then after the baked and cooled alittle I mixed up powder sugar, milk, vanilla and pumpkin pie spice for the glaze... So So Yummy!
