Cook and drain 2 lb ground beef. In a bowl mix ground beef , 2 jars of pizza sauce (or make your own) and some chopped up pepperonis then put in a 9x13 baking dish. Then add a layer of mozzarella cheese (2-3 cups).
Then in a bowl mix 1 1/4 cups flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 cup oil, 3 eggs, some garlic powder, basil or Italian seasoning and 2 cups milk pour over pizza ingredients, bake at 400 for 30 min or so. Enjoy
* You can also add cooked veggies (onions, peppers, mushrooms) to the dish , I highly recommend this :)
Thanks Katie :)
ReplyDeleteWhere do you find these recipes girl?...this one sounds very interesting. Might try it ; )
ReplyDeleteEverywhere Trish, lol I'm a recipe hoarder!
ReplyDeleteTried this recipe with a few variations: halved it and baked in a square baking dish. I added a green pepper, onion, and jar of mushrooms to the ground beef and used turkey pepperoni. I only had about a half cup of all purpose flour so I used about 1/4 cup whole wheat. I added a tossed sald and had a delicious and easy dinner!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds Great Wavette, glad you tried it and made it your way :)
ReplyDeleteNext time I make it I'm gonna have to make 2 so I can add veggies to one, some people in my house do not like all that good stuff, lol.
