Started having The Teenagers help out with the dishes after dinner last night... I had them pull a string from my hand and whoever pulled the short string won the privilege of doing the dishes! Its was Kaylin (sorry no pics. didnt think about it at the time)

Actually he cleaned the dishes good...he even wiped off the island and kitchen table!

I havent tried that with my boys yet...TOO scared to with mine...LOL..I cant even get em to load the dishwasher..JUst now are they learnin to rinse out there cereal bowl or what ever there eatin, normally they would just leave it in the sink..and they are 10 and the other is fixin to be 14...so your doing great!
ReplyDeleteWell I think its about time you introduce your boys to washing dishes, its really nice :) They may give you lip about it at first but deep down inside I think they'll love it! lol Blake actually had fun with it last night and after he was done with the dishes he said... "Hey Mom do you think I should wipe of the kitchen table?" I said " That would be nice, great idea Blake!"(secretly I wanted him too and was going to have him do it but he made my job easier by "thinking" the idea first, lol).
ReplyDeleteMaybe one of these days I'll get bold enough to let them clean their bathroom (dd15 has her own and she cleans it). We have one in our bedroom that I clean and then theres the boys bathroom... that everyone uses, I clean it for now.
