Fresh Pumpkin Bread

Its a nice cool fall day here today, so it was nice being in the kitchen bakin... I thawed out 6 cups of fresh pumpkin we did last year... I used 4 cups for some pumpkin bread.   1. Mmm, that looks good! I've got four punkins out on the porch, two big ones for jack-o-lanterns and then two smaller ones that The Youngun just thought were cute! LOL! How did you process your pumpkin for freezing?

  4. Thanks girl! I just got done crock potting a pork loin, shredding it all up and now it's on the stove with bbq sauce, brown sugar and onions for bbq for supper. I'm wondering if you keep your pork broth? I suppose I could use it anywhere I'd use chicken broth?? What do you think? I hate to just throw it away, and Ellie is the only dog whose stomach can handle it on food.....

  6. That's what I did too, LOL! I put it in the fridge, then I'm going to skim the fat in the morning and freeze it.
